Miguel, holds degrees in Politics (Bachelor of Arts, Macquarie University), Marketing Management ( Post Graduate Certificate, North Sydney Institute) and Migration Law and Practice (Australian National University). He is fluent in English and Spanish.

He has acted as mentor and presentations on Migration, Business in Latin America and Entrepreneurship. He has made presentations on behalf of Peru about the Pacific Alliance and the Peru Australia Free Trade Agreement (PAFTA).
